German Moreno, dearly called as Kuya Germs, passes away at age 82 this morning, 8 January 2016 at 3:20 AM. He is also known as Master Showman from his midnight entertainment program Walang Tulugan with Master Showman. An unprecedented star builder, surely he will be missed.
Kuya Germs died due to cardiac arrest. A year ago, he suffered from a stroke.
"He lived a full life, touched so many hearts through the years, and helped make dreams come true for most of the biggest stars in the Philippine entertainment industry. German Molino Moreno in real life, was born on October 4, 1933. He has an adopted child, Federico. He is popularly known for TV programs GMA Supershow, Walang Tulugan with Master Showman, That's Entertainment, Germspesyal and Superstar with Nora Aunor.
He spearheaded the Eastwood City Walk of Fame, similar to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His early careers include performing in vaudeville theaters and acting in films via Sampaguita Pictures.
German Moreno's wake, according to his nephew John Nite via his Twitter, will be at Mount Carmel Church in Aurora Blvd Quezon City.
