I watched the movie "Ouija" (GMA Films / Viva Films) the other day. TV ads and news said that people were talking about it. Indeed, it was a box office hit and was graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board. But, I want to find out for myself. The movie deserves 3 stars. A portion of the movie that stands out was the fast-paced series of non-stop suspense, horror, and thrill of ghost-haunting the lead characters. Cinematography and sound were also good. The acting of Judy Ann Santos, Jolina Magdangal, and Iza Calzado were good. The beginning was also good. I didn't have to wait long for the suspenseful scene. What I don't like is the inconsistent application of color. Color of some scenes were severely saturated. I don't know if that was intentional; nevertheless, it wasn't good for me.
